BOIYC Plan for the week
we are all back to school and work and life has some sort of routine again.
just a reminder its the start of the term again and our sailing fees are due. If you haven’t come sailing for a while now is a great time to start. for those that did learn to sail this summer join in with our Friday night or Sunday morning sailing.

BEMCO Thursday coaching 330-630
youth classes and Feva coaching
focus is on sail trim, talk about trimming to heading and trimming through gusts and lulls.
Drill 1 Diamond dazzle
Drill 2 Sailing and trimming around a square, whistles indicate mark to round
Drill 3 box starts, port end shark starts,
Driil 4 start to top mark lay through gybe set at the top.
Race to finish

DD GOLD Friday night fun sailing 330-630
Drill 1 Eliminator figure 8 when out sail to bottom mark and back.
Drill 2 Ball tag in the box
Drill 3 upwind legs over the side downwind hoon
Drill 4 Triangle race to finish

COPTHORNE Saturday coaching 2-5pm (youth classes and feva welcome)
Drill 1 Long up wind focus on speed
Drill 2 Long down wind focused on speed
Drill 3 starts long line start in the middle
Drill 4 windward leeward triangle race to finish.

ITM Sunday am coaching 10am-1pm
Learn to race group
focus is on learning race courses
Drill 1 Triangle
Drill 2 trapezoid
Drill 3 windward leeward
Drill 4 Banging the corners cup

COUNTDOWN Sunday club racing 1230-4pm
Need to be rigged and ready to leave the beach by 1pm
Check the course board and remember to sign on and off.
2pm first race starts
3 races back to back

North sails coaching Tuesday 330-630pm
talking wind shifts again
1 race (homework tell coach your plan then execute.)
2 long upwind speed testing
3 Long down wind speed testing
4 race (homework tell coach your plan then execute.)
