BEMCO Thursday coaching 330-630
youth classes coaching and Fevas
focus is on balance, boat trim, sail trim, rudder lee vs weather helm,
Talk about walking on trap down wind to catch waves watch the nacra 17 video
Drill 1 sausage drill upwind stbd gybe at top down wind port.
Drill 2 start drill hold your lane gybe set sail back to the start
Drill 3 Windward leeward race reech to finish

DD GOLD Friday night fun sailing 330-630
Rules and how to do a penalty turn watch video
Drill 1 Triangle drill 1 whistle change direction 2 whistles 360 and cary on.
Drill 2 box drill 360 0n each leg of the course
Drill 3 capsize start, reaching, down wind reech capsize finish

ITM Sunday am coaching 10am-1pm
All classes welcome
boat check and set up. check sailors on Knots and rules. talk about mark roundings
Drill 1 follow coach boat busy bottom and top marks.
Drill 2 dash for cash drill mark rounding to finish.
Drill 3 Box race.

COUNTDOWN Sunday club racing 1230-4pm
Be rigged and ready to sail by 1pm race starts at 2pm

Tuesday 330-630pm
Talking start homework tactics
and strategy at debrief
1 figure 8 knock out, around bottom mark and back when out.
2 start line homework tell coach your plan
3 3 min start 1 long race execute plan
4 feedback to coach and race again!

Reminder its the start of the term again and our sailing fees are due. If you haven’t come sailing for a while now is a great time to start. for those that did learn to sail this summer join in with our Friday night or Sunday morning sailing.
